Meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of each month.
Meetings usually consist of a two-course meal or buffet, with tea/coffee, followed by a guest speaker or activity.
Meeting costs vary and members do receive a discounted rate. Details of upcoming events are communicated to members at least two weeks in advance, along with details of how to book.
We meet at various different venues in and around the Inverness, Nairn, Ross-shire or Badenoch and Strathspey areas. Check out our events calendar for a list of upcoming events.

Charity of the Year Lunch 2025
Tuesday 14th January from 12pm - 2.30pm at the Glen Mhor Hotel & Apartments, Inverness.
Each year HBW invites charitable organisations that are based in, or operate within, the Highlands to put themselves forward for selection as our nominated charity for the coming year. Join us to hear from the shortlisted charities for selection to be Highland Business Women Charity of the Year 2025. Members, we would strongly encourage you to attend and cast your vote! Please note only members can vote.
The Charity of the Year lunch will take place at the Glen Mhor Hotel & Apartments on Tuesday 14th January from 12-2.30pm with a delicious soup and sandwiches. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know on your order form and we will be sure to cater for you. Please can we ask if you are submitting a dietary requirement on the booking page that you are very clear if this is an allergy or simply a dislike. We are getting lots of requests from venues to make contact with attendees before the event to confirm this due to the seriousness of allergies. We will never serve you anything you don’t like but it would be really helpful if you could confirm, if it’s an allergy you are submitting or a dislike.
We look forward to hearing from our shortlisted charities on the day! Please come along to support your preferred charity or hear from our shortlisted charities before helping to making a decision to who will be our Charity of the Year. A great opportunity to get your networking off to a good start in 2025 and meet and mingle with other Highland businesses. Always a popular event, so get your tickets before they sell out!

OUR FIRST VIRTUAL OF 2025!

Canva for anyone who hasn't come across it before, is an easy-to-use platform for creating professional-quality graphic designs, even if you are a design novice. Canva simplifies the design process by offering a wide range of templates, drag-and-drop functionality and customisable features. It is used for creating a variety of visual content, including social media posts, presentations, marketing materials, logos and much more. Its purpose is to help individuals, businesses and organisations create eye-catching visuals quickly and efficiently, without the need for advanced design skills or expensive software. In other words, its a life saver for anyone in business or running a business, saving you time and money.
Karen and Rebecca will take you through some of the most popular ways to use Canva, guiding you step by step through how to use it and some of its free and pro features. The session will be recorded and the link will be available to watch for 2 weeks after the session should you wish to replay it. If you want to join and have a go in real time, then please create a free Canva account before the event. You can do this by visiting www.canva.com.
