Events

Meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of each month.

Meetings usually consist of a two-course meal or buffet, with tea/coffee, followed by a guest speaker or activity.
Meeting costs vary and members do receive a discounted rate. Details of upcoming events are communicated to members at least two weeks in advance, along with details of how to book.

We meet at various different venues in and around the Inverness, Nairn, Ross-shire or Badenoch and Strathspey areas. Check out our events calendar for a list of upcoming events.

  • Virtual Event - An Evening of Inspo with Bridget Rose

    Wed 20 Nov 2024 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM GMT

Grab a coffee or cuppa and join us online for a Virtual Networking Evening of Inspo with Bridget Rose.  This unique event will combine two things, Bridget's passion for speaking and her love of flowers.  As an experienced speaker with a background in teaching and corporate leadership, Bridget will share her journey of transformation through flowers, hoping to inspire and give a unique perspective in finding fulfilment through unexpected paths.

Our charity of the year for 2024 is Halo - so why not "Buy a Coffee" for them and help our fundraising for 2024.  If you are able, please select the "Buy a Charity Coffee" option and donate £3 towards the Charity Fund.  Alternatively, you can make a donation of your choice via the Donation option.

Please remember that all our events are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Charity of the Year Lunch 2025

Each year HBW invites charitable organisations that are based in, or operate within, the Highlands to put themselves forward for selection as our nominated charity for the coming year. Join us to hear from the shortlisted charities for selection to be Highland Business Women Charity of the Year 2025. Members, we would strongly encourage you to attend and cast your vote! Please note only members can vote.

The Charity of the Year lunch will take place at the Glen Mhor Hotel & Apartments on Tuesday 14th January from 12-2.30pm with a delicious soup and sandwiches. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know on your order form and we will be sure to cater for you. Please can we ask if you are submitting a dietary requirement on the booking page that you are very clear if this is an allergy or simply a dislike. We are getting lots of requests from venues to make contact with attendees before the event to confirm this due to the seriousness of allergies. We will never serve you anything you don’t like but it would be really helpful if you could confirm, if it’s an allergy you are submitting or a dislike.

We look forward to hearing from our shortlisted charities on the day! Please come along to support your preferred charity or hear from our shortlisted charities before helping to making a decision to who will be our Charity of the Year. A great opportunity to get your networking off to a good start in 2025 and meet and mingle with other Highland businesses. Always a popular event, so get your tickets before they sell out!
