    Tickets are still available for the spectacular upcoming Spring Swing event hosted by The Oxygen Works!! Details and booking link below!!!

    A remider of why need fundraising events like these:

    Over the last year we have seen over 6000 appointments completed in the centre.

    So far this year we have seen a 7% rise in the amount of new applications for help.

    Our waiting list for oxygen therapy stretches well into the Autumn months. Never before has the need from our community been greater.

    It costs over Β£270,000 per year to keep our doors open.

    There are options for people to get involved:

    They can simply book themselves individual tickets. Tickets are Β£80 each. Tables of 10 for Β£800.

    Sponsorship options are available, or smaller packages can be tailor made to assist with paying for parts of the evening.

    We wanted to take some time to highlight our wonderful Charity of the Year Highland Action For Little Ones - Halo and the fantastic work they do within our local community.

    Halo was founded to support families in crisis and bridge a gap for families who require immediate assistance for their wee ones. In the Highlands 1 in every 5 children is living in poverty and living in poverty can create adverse childhood experiences for children and can leave them vulnerable to being bullied, limiting their life chances and opportunities. When something as simple as a warm winter jacket and boots encourages a child to want to attend school, it’s a small step on their path to a brighter future.

  • Mindfulness Flow - Part One β€˜Waking Up'

    Four week set, to develop your mindfulness practice. We will learn how to calm the mind to simply be.

    During the one hour group sessions we will be making sense of how mindfulness can be woven into everyday life. We will be guided with gentle practices to help us to switch off, to nourish ourselves, to rest and restore. This brings the mind, body and soul into the balance it needs for optimum wellness.

    Meditations will include, the three minute breathing space, sitting meditation, mindful movement and the body scan. We will experience how the breath is the door to awareness. Audio recordings of the guided meditations from Mindfulness Flow will support home practice.

    Sessions: Β£10 a week (Β£40 total). Dates of the four week set: 13th, 20th and 27th March and 17th April 2024, 7.30pm at Balloch Hall.

    What a fantastic evening at our Women's Wellness Event! The room was a buzz of conversation about wellbeing, wellness, mindfulness and menopause.

    We would like to extend our thanks once again to Lisa at Mindfulness Flow for giving such an interesting and engaging presentation about the importance and benefit of practicing mindfulness, giving us all some tips and techniques on practicing mindfulness.

    Thank you also to Dr Beth Macfarlane of Menopause Health Highland for such an honest and informative presentation about menopause which really got the room talking!
