Charity of the Year
Highland Business Women supports and raises funds for a chosen charity each year. Our aim is to work closely with the chosen charity, raising awareness of its cause and promoting any ongoing projects or campaigns.
Our Charity of the Year is selected each year in January by our members.
Applications for 2026 will open in November.
HBW has raised:
£8,000 in 2024 for Halo
£4,800 in 2023 for Calman Trust
£6,000 in 2021/22 for Mikeysline
£4,500 in 2020 for Fèis Rois
£5,300 in 2019 for The Oxygen Works
£4,000 in 2018 for The Elsie Normington Foundation’s Haven Project
Charity of the Year 2025
Highland Business Women are delighted to be supporting RASASH as our 2025 Charity of the Year.
RASASH are the only specialist service in Highland for survivors of sexual violence. As well as supporting and advocating for survivors, RASASH also delivers informative prevention work, and campaigns tirelessly for a society free from all forms of sexual violence. People in Highland deserve to have these services freely accessible, and as a charity RASASH relies on funding to help them achieve that.
