Good morning all! We hope this post finds you all well and ready for a great week ahead! We are starting off our week with another fabulous instalment of our Member Monday feature, and this week we are delighted to hear from Highland Business Women member, Laura Cormack of Innes & Mackay Solicitors, Estate Agents & Notaries:
Hi, my name is Laura Cormack, I am a property law Solicitor and Director of Innes & MacKay. I am also a Director of Highland Solicitors Property Centre and from the 1st April 2024 I will be President of BNI Tuath.
I started with Innes & MacKay in 2010, initially as a legal secretary progressing to a Conveyancing Paralegal and then I undertook the alternative route to becoming a solicitor and became fully qualified in 2020. In 2021 I took on the role of Director in which I help with the day to day running of the firm. I believe that you can be anything that you want to be providing you seek the right opportunities and apply yourself.
I thoroughly enjoy networking and meeting new people. It really does not matter what sector you are in everyone experiences the same issues and it is great to have a group of supportive members to ask for advice through the highs and lows of business and personal life. I am certainly looking forward to the year ahead and expanding my network.
