Good afternoon all! We hope you are all well and enjoying/surviving (depending on your outlook!) this chilly spell we’re having!
It’s Member Monday once again and that means we’re here with another of our fantastic HBW member stories. This week, we are delighted to hear from Jenni Donnelly of The Oxygen Works:
Hello! I am Jenni Donnelly and I am the General Manager of The Oxygen Works. We are a small self funded charity based in Burnett Road, Inverness. We provide a wide range of holistic services to people living with varying conditions, including Hyperbaric Oxygen, Physio, Theraplate and many others.
Having previously worked in procurement in a very commercial setting, when lock down hit, like many others I decided it was time for a change. Already being involved in two other local charities I realised that this is where my passion lay. It was timely, therefore, when the opportunity arose to come and work at TOW. I have never looked back and I now love coming to work every day!
No two days are the same at TOW! With our amazing team, therapists and client base of over 500 there is never a dull moment. In my two years here I feel so lucky to have seen first hand how the therapies provided at TOW change the lives of so many.
In 2019 we were privileged to be the Highland Business Women Charity of the Year. As a predominantly female workforce this was invaluable to us and really helped raise the profile of the charity.
When I am not at work I love socialising and singing with my amazing Rock Therapy Choir! We do indeed, ROCK!
