This week, we’re pleased to introduce you to one of our esteemed members, Naomi Russell. 
“I’m Naomi, and alongside my brother Michael, we are Joint Managing Directors of our family business, Russwood. We are a leading supplier of high-quality, sustainable timber products and systems. While we supply throughout the UK and have recently established an office and studio space in Glasgow, we take great pride in our Highland roots.
I am passionate about Lean Manufacturing and operations; continuous improvement now underpins our entire culture. I spend a lot of time putting initiatives in place to support our employees. It’s all about giving the team the tools they need to do the best job they can. We want to create an environment that people genuinely enjoy working in.
Wood is a passion for us. We believe in timber as a construction material. It’s renewable, it’s sustainable, the trees our products are made from sequester carbon as they grow… there are so many benefits. For me, it’s important to understand and be an active member of the wider timber industry. This way, the sector can work together to promote timber as the first choice for construction projects.”
