Creating positive, trauma-informed workplaces
Join RASASH (Rape and Sexual Abuse Service Highland) for an empowering and practical session designed to give you the confidence and knowledge to support others and challenge harmful behaviour in your workplace and community.
This interactive session will include:
- Who We Are & What We Do: An introduction to RASASH – the support services we offer to survivors across the Highlands, and how individuals and organisations can access or signpost help.
- Understanding Gender-Based Violence in the Highlands: A look at the unique context and challenges of gender-based violence in our region – what the statistics tell us, and how this issue affects workplaces, communities, and individuals.
- When Someone Tells You Their Story: Practical guidance on how to respond if a staff member, colleague, client, or friend discloses that they’ve experienced sexual violence – what to say (and what not to), how to support without overstepping, and why your response matters.
- Becoming an Active Bystander: Learn simple, effective ways to safely challenge inappropriate behaviour – whether it’s a ‘joke’ in the office or something more serious – and help create safer, more respectful environments for everyone.
This session is an opportunity to upskill yourself in a supportive space. Whether you’re a manager, business owner, employee, or simply someone who wants to be a better ally, you’ll come away with increased awareness, tangible tools, and a deeper understanding of how we can all be part of the solution.
Our virtual events are very purse friendly, with ALL MONEY RAISED GOING TOWARDS OUR CHARITY OF THE YEAR: RASASH (Rape & Sexual Abuse Service Highland). So get your ticket now and help our fundraising for 2025.
