We are delighted to bring you another instalment in our Member Monday feature, bringing you a little insight into another of our wonderful members. This week, we are pleased to introduce you to our very own HBW Board Member, our Joint Events Coordinator, Amy Macleod of Innes & Mackay Solicitors, Estate Agents & Notaries:Hello, my name is Amy Macleod and I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Family Law Team at Innes & Mackay. I am also a committee member of the Scottish Young Lawyers Association and Joint Events Coordinator at HBW.
I was born and brought up on the Isle of Lewis and moved to Inverness in 2022 to start at Innes & Mackay as a Pre-PEAT Trainee. I undertook the alternative route to becoming a solicitor and this involved working and undertaking examinations with the Law Society of Scotland and a Diploma in Legal Practice at Robert Gordon University which I completed in May 2024. My role includes dealing with all aspects of family law including separation, divorce and childcare related issues.
I have previously been involved with several fundraising projects and enjoy organising events so when the opportunity arose to join this great group of ladies as a Joint Events Coordinator, I thought it would be the perfect time to join. I look forward to working alongside this incredible group and expanding my network further.
